Week 6 Term 4

This week we were learning how to make a 'chicken wing'  shape with our arms to help us do a good discus throw. first of all we used tennis balls.....
...and then we used very squeaky chickens!!!!
In maths we started work on fractions by splitting groups of objects in to 1/2s and the 1/4s. Can you work out which things we used? Which one do you think we also enjoyed as a tasty treat at then end of the day.

On Friday we had a special treat when Tasman School visited us with their roadshow including puppets, recorders and ukuleles.

Later of Friday we were able to get out in the sunshine and explore lots of new ideas in Discovery Time including giant bubble blowing, Check it out on this slide show.
