Welcome to a new term in Room 10. You may have noticed the Class Treaty we worked on last term is on display to remind of our responsibilities and we are now busy illustrating a book to go with it.
We have started back full of energy and enthusiasm for all the literacy, numeracy and art work we have been doing. Take a look....
On Thursday Tosca's mum came in for the last 10 minutes of the day to read us a story. What a special treat for us all. Remember to sign up on the notice board for a slot to share your child's favourite story book from home with their class mates.
With Christine on Friday we played a game to help us focus on our social skill of 'Including Others'.
In Discovery Time we continued to think about the sound 'b' which we learnt this week. How many 'b' activities can you spot?
In Art we started our focus on printing by making hyacinth pictures for the front of our Mother's Day cards. Check out you own child's work on the Kidzstuff blog by using the link to the right of this post.
We also made a special movie to say a big thank you to all our Mum's on Mother's day.

Looks like you guys get up to so much fun. Malachi is so proud to be in room 10, and of the class blog. He shares it with many, including suggesting to the woman behind the desk at the museum today that she might like to take a look. He helped her logon on her computer and as it was being a bit slow he has suggested that she might like to come to his place to have a better look sometime.
