Week 2 Term 2

Welcome  to our Room 10 blog for Week 2 of Term 2.
This week we started to learn about using the digital camera. We took photos of each other using the eye level camera angle. This photo was taken by Erin.
With Autumn all around us we have been out and about enjoying our Autumn environment and playing in the leaves before writing some descriptions of Autumn.

In maths we started learning about doubles by practicing doubles to 10....
.......and using picture and number dominoes.
In phonics we worked on the sound 'j' and learnt about the digraph 'ai'.

We used our sight word and punctuation knowledge to make some 'silly' sentences.
In ICT this week we continued to think about Autumn by drawing leaves using the programme Tux Paint. You can download this for free at:
http://www.tuxpaint.org/download/

A big thank you to Isha's mum for coming in to read a story to us this week, It taught us that we need to be respectful of our privileges or we could loose them again.
Finally please enjoy our Autumn leaf poem.
