Week 7 and 8 Term 1

Welcome to our round up of what has been happening in Room 10 in the run up to Easter.
Over the last 2 weeks we have been practicing lots of sports skills in Hockey and No Child Left Inside. In Discovery Time we have been getting creative around the theme of pirates. This movie shows you some of these things in action.

We have continued with our weekly letter sounds and tricky word practice.

...and started to publish our own writing.
In Mandarin we have learnt a Chinese dance and how to count to 10.

In maths we have been working with our maths buddies to read numbers to 10 and count groups of objects up to 10.

In Art we used characters from the Monsters Lunch big book to help explore the primary colours; red, yellow and blue.

  1. Always a highlight for us reading these blogs and looking at the pictures together. Am hoping Malachi will show me the Chinese dance sometime, meanwhile he has been teaching me a few words.
