Week 3 Term 4




This 4 days week has just raced past but we still packed in lots of learning. On out visit to the Tauira programme at the Nelson Museum we were able to  build on our weaving and fabric work skills as well as confidently using use our Te Reo  outside the classroom. Tino Pai!

On Friday we worked with our Room 5 buddies to make panels for a giant banner for peace that will be displayed at the  Peace Picnic on November 5th. This event is to celebrate peace in Nelson and commemorate Parihaka Day, Details are in our school newsletter.

Afterwards we enjoyed some games......

Art: Basic Stitching, Salt dough Diwali divas
ICT: Interactive Diwali games
