Week 8 Term 3

Welcome to our Week 8 blog. As you can see we have continued our science focus in Discovery Time and also used our imaginations to make some pretty cool creations from left over scraps of wood. Thanks to Oscar's dad for sending in these inspiring off cuts for us to reuse.

When learning the Tricky Word 'you' we had to remember to use a hanging tail for the letter 'y'.
In No Child Left Inside we continued to practice our skills when playing petanque.
In maths we have continued our focus on 'time' by thinking about days of the week and months of the year and the way they form a continuous cycle.

A special treat this week was a very 'happy' story from Harry's mum..it made us all giggle.....
..and another treat was muffins to celebrate another Room 10 friend turning 6.
Our mini focus for this week was all about Dragons: have a listen to our Dragon poem
